Foreign stamps have such a colorful, adventurous air of mystery. One mystery I pondered as I sifted through these at the Paris flea market? Who steamed these things off of the envelopes. There were seriously zillions of them. Whoever you are, mercî!

For some reason, old, dirty stuff looks more beautiful in France. It’s weird.

A perfect, pastel-y lithograph I scored at Marché aux Puces de la Port de Vanves

More Paris flea market finds… I could just picture these in shards in my luggage, so, alas, I left them behind.

I believe this now, but it’s early and I haven’t had my tea yet. Talk to me at lunch and I’ll probably be plotting someone’s demise. Mwah hahaha. These non-competitive zebras are the great work of Alec Thibodeau and can be found here.

Roman Klonek’s illustration is all kooky and Polish, and there’s something about his characters that just charm me silly. If this upside down box dude is saying something offensive in some Eastern European language, I do apologize. But look at him! He’s so cute!

What a super gorgeous way to appreciate the beauty of everyday stuff. Check out more goodies like this pretty vase/shelf/hook frame set at online store Think of The, home of the kind of gross, but very clever anti-theft lunch bag.

Ray Fenwick is the kind of standard issue smarty pants artist whose work I could ogle all day. Check out an awesome Flickr set of his stuff here. His portfolio, which features some cool paintings on vintage book covers, is here.

This sweet pony-loving post is dedicated to my friend Laura, who, in elementary school, dumped an unresponsive pen pal by writing “I don’t think I’ll have time to write much anymore because my dad just got me a pony and I have to go ride it.” Priceless. Love you, Laura! Check out Lily Moon’s Etsy shop for more pretty drawings like this one. (via Pretty.Little.World)

This is just one of Yes Studio’s great little collection of handprinted odes to the hi-fi.
